Nothing can kill the heat better than swimming in the sea, the pool or even in the inflatable plastic pool. Most kids enjoy swimming. No matter where you are, if there’s a pool, they want to do nothing but getting in the water.
Every kid loves swimming. It is a good exercise and helps them improve their physical appearance. Some might feel that swimming is like taking a bath so they skip taking a shower after swimming. What they do is just changing clothes thinking that taking a shower at home will probably be all right.
Do you know?Most swimming pools are chlorinated to kill bacteria. It’s not good to skip a bath after swimming. Some of them use large amount of chlorine as you can smell it. This can cause irritation to the baby’s skin.
What to do after swimming?
1. Immediately clean the body with soap.
2. The chlorine from the pool can dry off the skin. Apply moisturizer cream or lotion to nourish the skin.
3. Wash the hair with shampoo and conditioner to prevent dryness.
4. If there is a cut on the skin, immediately clean the area to wash out the chlorine and bacteria.
Tips : After swimming, if the baby’s hair and skin are dry, apply small amount of baby oil on in order to restore moisture.
