Little kids always like outdoor playing, all parents know that. So, you must not forget to take care of their delicate skin which can be damaged by sunlight. Let’s follow these 5 sun protection tips for your kids.
1. Apply sunscreen on your kids’ facial and body skin. Repeat applying the sunscreen every 2 hours or when the body is wet.
2. Use sunscreen with minimum SPF 15 which can protect the skin from both UVA and UVB. Daily apply the cream to skin even on the day with mind sunlight.
3. Wear clothes with soft tone of color for your kids. These clothes should cover their arms and legs. If your kids have to go outside the house in the strong sunlight day, make sure that they wear broad brimmed hats and sunglasses. These clothes and accessories can protect kids from both UVA and UVB.
4. From 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., the sunlight is very strong. So, make sure that the kids must only play indoor, if it’s possible.
5. Remember that playing nearby water on the day with strong sunlight makes kids get more sunlight from water reflection effect. You should apply sunscreen cream on your kids’ facial and body skin, and don’t let them play in the strong sunlight too long.
