- Hand-foot-mouth disease. When it rains, and the air is moist, the rates of disease outbreaks are higher. It’s frequently found in infants and children younger than 5 years old. Tips for Baby’s Skin Care in Rainy Season
- Choose 100% cotton clothes with good ventilation.
- Change diapers often and clean the baby properly every time before putting on a new diaper.
- Keep the baby’s nails short to prevent scratching because it can cause skin abrasion and infection from bacteria.
- If the baby is showered in the rain, give them a bath, watch the hair, and change to dry clothes.
- After the school, the children should wash hands and feet clean with soap then dry properly.
- Examine the skin whether there’s a wound. If found one, clean the wound to prevent infection.
- In the rainy season, beware of the mosquitoes and other infectious diseases caused by them.
