Parents often find their children getting sick with influenza, Foot-Hand-Mouth disease, RSV, German measles infection, diarrhea, Rotavirus, and the rare-heard-of Norovirus after getting back to school. These diseases often spread in young children. Some schools have several sick children from the same class or even the whole class. If too many children from the same class fall ill at the same time, some schools have to close that class, or the room, to stop the spreading of the disease and clean the room and toys so that the children can be healed faster.
5 Places in school to beware of germs
When to let my children go to school again?
Actually, it’s advised to have your children to rest at home until they completely recover. Since there’re fewer germs in the house, the children should rest until they’re healthy before going back to school. Even when the fever goes down, other symptoms are still there. Your children’s body hasn’t yet fully recovered and still has low immunity. If they’re forced to go to school, they may be infected with other germs again.
