Currently, the influenza is spreading fast. It’s a common phenomenon during the rainy season and winter. Influenza is also a major cause of respiratory tract infections which the symptoms may be more severe and take a longer time to cure comparing to normal flu. 1. Children will cough.
2. Have running nose when having the flu.
3. High fever (usually higher than 38.5 degrees Celsius).

4 Ways to prevent your children from influenza

1. For Thai children, it’s good to give them vaccines before the raining season. The vaccine can be either of the northern hemisphere types or the southern hemisphere types.
2. In young children, if they have never been vaccinated, it’s recommended to take them to get the annual influenza vaccine at a nearby hospital.
3. Wash your hands often or wear a mask to reduce the spreading virus.
4. Take care of your health by eating healthy foods with balanced nutrition, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, exercise regularly, and have enough rest.
