How to choose cotton pads/buds for your newborn

Mother always chooses the best for your baby, not just foods but also other essentials. The cotton pad is another thing that needs special attention.

Simple tips for choosing the cotton pad for your baby

• For cotton buds, the rod must be strong enough. Choose the small one since it can clean better and more completely.
• Absorbent and soft cotton appropriate for baby skin
• Sterilized to prevent skin irritation
• Fluorescence agent free

Before bathing, you need to get everything ready in advance. Prepare the tub with warm water and gentle baby soap, soft sponge, washcloths and baby powder.

• Begin with damping the cotton pad with warm water. Swipe on each side of the eye lids.
• Wipe the ears with the new damp cotton pad.
• Damp the small washcloth with warm water. Swipe on the neck, armpits, hands, fingers and back.
• Lastly, wipe the baby’s genital and bottom with cotton pad and gentle baby soap. For a baby girl, wipe from the front to the back. For a baby boy, just wipe around your baby’s penis and scrotum. Afterward, use a damp cotton pad to clean out the soap and dry the baby’s skin with towel and baby powder before putting on the new clean clothes.
