It is the bedtime… but your baby is still awake and keeps crying, showing no sign of desire for sleeping. What should you do? Well, that is not difficult as you think. Parents should try doing the bedtime routine which will tell the baby that he or she should sleep. Follow these 10 tips will help the baby to sleep well.
1. Bath and powder. Bath the baby with warm water, and then wear them with soft cloths that are not too thick or too thin, as this will make the baby comfortable without sticky perspiration. When the babies feel comfortable, they will have a good mood and fall asleep more easily.
2. Massage. Parent should try to gently massage the baby’s body or, alternatively, massage the baby when applying lotion around the arms and legs. This kind of massage will make the baby feels relaxed and falls asleep more easily.
3. Let’s do breastfeeding From the newborn to 6 months old, the baby naturally has his or her own sleep cycle about 10 cycles per night. 7. Playing the instrumental music. Playing the easy-listening instrumental music helps the baby stays in a good mood and falls asleep more easily. Besides, this helps brain development, organizing learning system, and creating good memory.
8. Suitable room temperature. Hot or humid bedroom air makes the baby feels uncomfortable and moody. So, room temperature should be suitably adjusted so that it is not too cold or too hot. Put a soft blanket on the baby’s chest to make it warmer.
9. Don’t make noise. In the bedroom or sleeping area for baby should be quiet. For example, there should be no noise from television, radio or parents’ loud conversation because these will make the baby excited and cannot sleep.
