Tales and children are inseparable. Listening to tales is one of the most favorite activity for children. Tales are the very powerful media for children development because they create children’s imagination which let them to dream about things they have never seen before. So, children have lots of fun and joy when listening to tales told by their parents. Besides providing children an opportunity to widely learn about things around them, telling tales is also an activity that stimulate children to have many more imaginations such as:

Therefore, parents should support children to create their imagination by tales telling, talking, or asking questions that encourage them to think, try to play imaginary roles, and create their own tales. By doing these things, our children will have good development in language, thinking, and imagination. Altogether, the love and warmth within the family will be greatly strengthened.
