First month
As soon as the sperm and the egg meet, conception occurs. Once the egg is fertilized, it leaves the Fallopian tube and enters the uterus, expanding cells along the process. By the time it reaches the uterus, the egg will be a round bunch of cells that keep growing quickly, until the egg implants into the soft and comfy uterine wall. Once it burrows perfectly into the uterine wall, the conception is complete.
Second month
A new life is here! The fetus is now about 1.6 cm long, and facial features begin to appear in the form of small dots. It has a complete cartilage skeleton, as well as the tooth buds and small joints. Its organs are forming little by little, and by now, your fetus will already have its own unique fingerprints.
Third month
Now your baby has developed almost every organ, and its sexual organs are developing. It will be about 6 c, long, with more distinctive facial features. The eyes which used to be on the sides of the head are now moving closer together on the face, while the ears gradually shift to their proper positions. The hair starts growing, and baby nails are forming on the thumbs and index fingers. There are 20 small buds in the mouth, which will later become their teeth.
