Niacin / Vitamin B3
This is the only vitamin that human body can synthesize from amino acid. Besides helping to nourish brain and nerves, it cares for health of skin, tongue, and tissues of digestion system. This vitamin is essential for sex hormone synthesis and reduction of blood cholesterol. Niacin is generally found in foods from animal and plants. Sources of high level of Niacin are meats, fishes, beans, rice, and animal organs. Source of moderate level of Niacin are potatoes, cereals, milk, eggs, vegetables, and fruits.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is an antioxidant which helps to prevent skin deterioration and repairs of damaged skin. Besides, vitamin A is important for the skin’s growth process. It is important substance that ensures normal function of skin. Moreover, vitamin A helps to prevent cancer and enhance the eyes’ health. Foods that are major sources of vitamin A are eggs, milk, butter, salmon, Halibut fish, and green-leaf vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, asparagus, papayas, cantaloupe, tomatoes, and pumpkin.
Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin B Complex is very important for health of skin because it helps the energy production process within cells. Major sources are broccoli, potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, tomatoes, cabbages, spinach, bananas, apples, eggplant, and fruits similar as oranges, eggs, chicken meat, salmon, and tuna.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an important nutrient that helps synthesizing and stimulating collagen production. Collagen cannot function in absence of vitamin C. Besides, vitamin C helps to resist the free radicals so that it can prevent deterioration of skin cells and effectively slow down the occurrence of wrinkles.
